Processing times

Orders are prepared and shipped as quickly as possible—typically within 1–2 business days for Cordsmith® and 3–5 business days for Forma™, since these products are made to order.

These are conservative estimates, and I always aim to ship sooner whenever possible! Any longer processing times will be noted on the individual product page.

Processing time is separate from shipping transit time.

Shipping

Standard shipping within the United States is $8, with free standard shipping on qualifying orders of $100 or more.

International shipping rates are based on package weight and displayed at checkout.

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information.

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order. If you notice an error after ordering, contact me as soon as possible, and I'll do my best to help before the package ships.

Returns & exchanges

Because Cordsmith and Forma products are made to order, I generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect color or size selections, or other ordering preferences.

Please review product descriptions and available options carefully before purchasing. If you're unsure about sizing, colors, or compatibility, I'm always happy to answer questions before you order.

This policy does not limit any rights customers may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Manufacturing defects

I stand behind every Cordsmith and Forma product I make!

If your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact me with your order number and clear photos showing the problem.

Verified manufacturing defects are covered by a free replacement, including replacement shipping. You generally won't need to return the defective item.

Damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive an incorrect item, please contact me as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the item and packaging.

I'll work with you to resolve the issue, including providing a replacement when appropriate.

International orders

ByAutumn ships internationally to supported destinations.

International shipping typically takes 1–3 weeks or longer, depending on the destination, customs processing, and local postal services.

International customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, VAT, taxes, or import fees charged by their country. These charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost unless specifically noted at checkout.

Many international orders ship using Pirate Ship's Simple Export Rate.

Delayed or missing international packages

International delivery can occasionally take longer than expected, especially when packages are processing through customs.

Packages are generally not considered lost until at least 30 days after shipment.

If your international package hasn't arrived after 30 days, please contact me with your order number so I can investigate and help determine the next steps.
